This legend arose to explain the incredible popularity of the poster, which sold over 12 million copies. It was always a bit of a mystery why that specific poster became such a focus of popular erotic fixation. The subliminal seduction theory offered a seemingly plausible explanation. The poster was so popular, according to this theory, because the brains of young men were subconsciously perceiving the word SEX in her hair, and this triggered desire for the poster. Honestly .. The word SEX is supposed to begin with the curls on her right shoulder that form an S. I can see the S, and the X but I can’t see an E….

ANOTHER day another sex video?

Lindsay Lohan is the latest Hollywood star embroiled in scandal over an alleged sex tape.

Grainy video is being circulated on the net claiming to be the actress involved intimately with former beau Callum Best, son of soccer legend George Best.

Lohan is the second star involved in sex tape allegations this week. Another tape, allegedly involving Sex in the City’s Kirstin Davis, was leaked a few days ago.

Several gossip websites are reporting Lindsay Lohan not only ‘enjoyed the company’ of Best last summer – but also got it on tape!

According to reports, Calum is responsible for the leak of the video – he apparently filmed himself having sex with Lindsay on his phone and then send the footage to friends.

LiLo has strenuously denied it’s her in the video. She’s reportedly furious over the claims which she thinks could wreck her attempts to rid herself of her bad girl image.

Lohan has spent the last few months trying to prove she is a credible actress and a good role model for girls.

A JUICY twist has emerged in the sex tape scandal surrounding Sex in the City star Kristin Davis, who denied rumors about her role in the tape – and it’s existence.

The Hollywood star’s publicist told celebrity gossip website TMZ.com that the photos are not of Davis, and she is not the same woman depicted in the compromising photos that have hit the internet.

She also denied there was an existing sex tape starring the actress.

But TMZ.com reports today that up to 20 photos of the actress are believed to have been taken five years ago by an ex-boyfriend of Davis.

A source has told TMZ.com the the photos are were taken in 1992, and were later sold off to a third party by Davis’ ex, who was pissed at Kristin.

The third party got involved in a business venture with another guy and we’re told that guy pilfered the pics and they ended up online, TMZ.com stated.

Foxnews.com reports: They (the photos) feature what appears to be Davis in compromising positions and are being negotiated for sale by a broker in California.

The full effects of the Paris Hilton sex tape’s Internet arrival last month have yet to be calculated. How many office hours were lost to labyrinthine Googling? How much bandwidth was wasted on spurious files involving dancing monkeys, a ’90s Hilton-look-alike porn clip or, in one ingenious example, a weirdo in a fake mustache and wig cooing into his webcam: “I’m Paris Hilton! I just had sex! I hope the media doesn’t find out!”? And how many copies of the latest version of Windows Media Player had to be downloaded once the real thing was located?

For those who haven’t managed to see the real movie online, or failed to read numerous reports of its contents, the under-three-minute clip was purportedly excerpted from a much longer tape made in 2001 when party-girl heiress Hilton, then 19, was dating Hollywood producer and Internet gambling mogul Rick Solomon, then 30.

Shot in eerie green camcorder night vision, the video shows the couple grunting gleefully through several positions, and ends with a generously documented fellatio scene. Sometimes Solomon holds the camera, giving his perspective; at other times, the camera sits bedside, and the two glance over occasionally to see how they look in the LCD screen. Director-like, Solomon tells Hilton to reposition herself repeatedly, at one point facing her directly into the camera, “so you’ll get to see what I get to see.” Or—whether Solomon knew it or not—so millions of others would. Although recent documents posted on muckraking website the Smoking Gun suggest Solomon had a hand in getting the complete tape to a potential distributor, he currently denies involvement in releasing it.

The Hilton tape is only the latest example in a long-flourishing underground trade in celebrity pornography, whose scope has increased dramatically with each innovation in motion picture technology. Even the Hilton fakes have many antecedents. As star-porn history shows, demand has always outstripped supply, creating a fantasy-driven environment filled with outright fakes, tantalizing come-ons that fail to deliver, mysterious artifacts of disputed provenance, and numerous curiosities that circulate due more to freak factor than any erotic frisson.

The distant seeds of celebrity porn took root in 19th-century literary erotica attributed to famous authors, such as the mock-epic Don Leon, claimed to have been penned by Lord Byron as a record of his notorious exploits, or the explicitly homosexual Victorian novel Teleny, long said to have been written by Oscar Wilde. After Hollywood invented the movie star in the early 20th century, Tijuana Bibles satisfied a new desire to see screen deities stripped bare. These crudely drawn comic-book leaflets depicted stars like Jean Harlow, Greta Garbo, and Clark Gable in various farcical trysts.

Hardcore porn films have existed at least since the teens, circulated through private clubs and wealthy collectors. Ancient Hollywood gossip has it that Joan Crawford acted in several early stag films, including some with lesbian scenes. But one of the earliest star-attributed films to circulate widely was a nameless one-reel nudie loop purporting to depict a young Marilyn Monroe, who would have shot it around 1948, prior to her posing nude for the inaugural issue of Playboy. In the film, a lone young woman does a striptease, rolls an apple across her chest, and then sips a soda. Later dubbed The Apple Knockers and the Coke, it was distributed to colleges and cinemas in the early ’70s by Grove Films, packaged in a collection of vintage erotic shorts and experimental works like Carolee Schneemann’s Fuses. Today, it’s recognized that Apple Knockers and several other so-called Monroe porn films depict another early Playboy model named Arline Hunter.

One Monroe stag film remains in dispute, however. Also dated from 1948, this unnamed 16mm hardcore short shows a Monroe-ringer screwing a mustached man on a couch. According to a 1980 Penthouse cover story, a print was discovered that year by a Swedish photographer and subsequently publicized in adult magazines and tabloids worldwide. “Here, in grainy celluloid,” Penthouse wrote next to copious frame-enlargements, “may well be the still unglamorized sex goddess the public never knew, before plastic surgeons, stylists, and designers transformed her into the mythical Marilyn Monroe. It’s a thought to fire the imagination of every man who ever dreamed of her, a fantasy come to fruition.” Another print of probably the same film garnered headlines in industry trades when it surfaced at a Spanish festival for film collectors in 1997. Those who argue the actress is Monroe point to declassified FBI files from 1965 detailing that Joe DiMaggio offered $25,000 for a print of a “French-type” movie depicting Monroe “in unnatural acts with an unknown male.” Its authenticity seemed likely enough for Hollywood’s Erotic Museum to purchase a print, now kept in its collection alongside artwork by Picasso and Tom of Finland.

During adult cinema’s first boom in the ’60s and ’70s, similar celeb-porn urban legends took hold, many of which persist today. “Rumors of famous stars appearing in stags were impossible to squelch,” blue-movie historian Jack Stevenson writes of this era, “because the public wanted so much to believe them.” Playing to these desires, a number of star sex films were distributed through 8mm home catalogs and porn theaters, including silent loops allegedly depicting Jayne Mansfield and Barbra Streisand. The so-called Streisand film merely shows a young woman with a large nose having sex on camera; though available copies have become murky through generations of cheap dubbing, any resemblance seems far-fetched. Several hardcore gay films were made around this time starring Joe Dallesandro, according to film critic Dennis Dermody, who claims he has obtained video copies that clearly show Little Joe’s telltale tattoo. Another gay stag is rumored to show B-actor Chuck Connors, of ’50s TV series The Rifleman, although reports vary on the actual contents of the film.

While they are certainly pinup icons, I cant help but thinking of that infamous poster of Farrah Fawcett in a red bikini. The long curly blond hair. The smile. The killer body. And those perfect tits. It’s the most popular poster in history and has sold over 12 million copies.

Like most, I first rubbed one out to Farah Fawcett in the seventies TV show, Charlie’s Angels, as she played Jill Munroe. A celebrity sex tape is a home video of sex acts, as performed by a celebrity and his or her partner(s), which finds Internet and/or bootleg and occasionally legitimate commercial distribution and made available to an audience for which it was not supposedly intended.

The following is an alphabetical list by surname of individuals known to have their sexual acts recorded and distributed:

* Pamela Anderson

o Pamela Anderson and then-husband Tommy Lee had various interludes from their honeymoon placed online by Internet Entertainment Group in 1998 as one of the earliest internet celebrity sex tapes.

o Pamela Anderson and Bret Michaels (singer of the band Poison) had a sex tape released as a DVD on 7 September 2005. The footage had been circulating on the internet for many years.

* Chu Mei-feng had a 47-minute video CD secretly taken with a pinhole camera, released by a local paparazzi magazine in December 2001. The video showed Chu having sex with Tseng Chung-ming, who was later confirmed as a married man. Despite local authorities’ immediate effort to pull all the magazines in question from the market, the video quickly spread via the Internet. In January 2002, search engine Lycos reported that her name was among the most searched terms. That same year, many Taiwanese lingerie manufacturers reported a significant growth in the sales of white thong panties, the same style Chu wore in the video.

* Chua Soi Lek, while serving as Malaysia’s Health Minister, was secretly videotaped having sex. Two resulting DVDs were distributed freely and anonymously to various homes in Batu Pahat, Malaysia. On 2 January 2008, Dr. Chua announced his resignation, despite saying he would not do so the previous day.

* Daniela Cicarelli is a Brazilian TV show hostess for MTV Brasil and fashion model. Her sex video was broadcast on the TV show Dolce Vita on Spanish channel Telecinco. It revealed Cicarelli on a beach in Spain fondling her boyfriend Merrill Lynch employee Renato “Tato” Malzoni and later having sex with him in the water.

* Dustin Diamond of Saved by the Bell fame authorized the release of a 40-minute sex tape in 2006 in the hopes that it would bring in profits and provide a boost to his career.

* Fred Durst, the frontman for the band Limp Bizkit, had a video of him and an unknown woman having sex leaked onto the Internet by a repairman who had been repairing his computer. He later sued the website Gawker and nine others for $70 million dollars for publishing it.

* Kelsey Grammer sued Internet Entertainment Group, wrongly believing it had bought a sex tape from his ex-girlfriend Cerlette Lamme, whom he had dated for seven years. He dropped the suit after IEG counter-sued, stating it had not bought or possessed the video. It was later found Lamme never had videotaped sex with Grammer or anyone else. Nor had she tried to sell a sex tape of any kind. Grammer said later it was just a rumor that had gotten out of hand. Lamme never asked for money after the relationship ended but did win a lawsuit after the publication of Grammer’s book My Life So Far. His chapter on her was found to be defamatory.

* Tonya Harding and her husband Jeff Gillooly had a sex tape that was leaked onto the internet and subsequently became so widely available that the couple decided to legitimately release it on their own. It is commercially sold by Penthouse Home Video as the “Wedding Night” tape, although the wedding gown was actually a Halloween costume.

* Keeley Hazell of Page 3 Idol (2004) fame, had a 10 minute sex tape featuring herself and her ex-boyfriend released in early January 2007.

* Ophélie-Marie and her Boyfriend recorded themselves having sex. Ophélie Marie was Playmate for French Edition in 2006, then was candidate for the French Real Tv show Secret Story in 2007. This video was tagged “The Real Sextape” because in the past she had promoted a poker website with a fake sextape. At the moment, there is no official news about legal proceedings .

* Paris Hilton and then-boyfriend Rick Salomon recorded themselves having sex in a hotel room, shot in night-vision. Hilton initially attempted to stop the distribution of the tape, but later agreed to its release. She now receives profits from the tape. The notoriety surrounding the tape only served to increase Hilton’s fame. This footage, along with additional full-color footage, was released commercially under the title 1 Night in Paris.

* Ulrika Jonsson won a court order banning footballer Stan Collymore from selling an explicit video of the pair indulging in sexual activity.

* Socialite Kim Kardashian confirmed the existence of a sex tape of her made by then-boyfriend Ray J. She threatened to take legal action to block its planned distribution by Vivid Video.

* Jayne Kennedy, a former sportscaster and blaxploitation actress, had a sex tape stolen and released showing her with former husband Leon Isaac Kennedy.

* Joanie Laurer (better known as Chyna) and fellow professional wrestler Sean Waltman (aka X-Pac) appeared in a home sex tape sold under the title 1 Night in China. Unusually, the tape was not accidentally leaked, but was actually solicited to pornographic film distributors by the duo, possibly in an attempt at a career boost.

* Jenna Lewis, a contestant on Survivor, had her wedding night sex tape released. It features 42 minutes of sex with her husband, model Travis Wolfe, in a Las Vegas, Nevada hotel room.

* Hoang Thuy Linh famous TV star from Vietnam ruined her career because of an apparent sex tape. Her TV show was cancelled as a result.

* Rob Lowe faced controversy in the 1980s; he taped himself having sex with two young women, one of whom was underage.

* Mimi Macpherson is a celebrity in Australia and sister of supermodel Elle Macpherson. She made a sex tape with boyfriend Michael Hellwig.

* Leighton Meester is an American actress. The sex tape, which surfaced online on June 19, 2009, features Meester performing sexual acts on her boyfriend.

* Carolyn Murphy’s ex-husband Jake Schroeder allegedly tried to sell a tape featuring them having sex during their honeymoon in 1999 while in Barbados. In January 2006, Schroeder was arrested and charged with extortion for trying to sell the tape. The video was leaked onto the internet in April 2006.

* Nicole Narain and Colin Farrell have a 13-minute sex tape. Farrell confirmed the existence of the tape and successfully obtained a court order blocking its distribution, but in January 2006, copies of the tape appeared on the Internet.

* Noelia Puerta Rican pop star. In June 2007, a sex tape of Noelia and former boyfriend Yamil started circulating on the Internet, which caused a media hype.

* Robert Ritchie – Kid Rock and Scott Stapp (former singer of the band Creed) appear in a sex tape from 1999 where the two engage in sex acts with four groupies. California pornography company Red Light District planned to release the tape in 2006, but one of the women involved filed to block it. Ritchie also filed an injunction, called Stapp an “idiot”, and blamed him for the tape’s leak.

* Jenni Rivera’s sex video was stolen from her house and released onto the internet in October 9, 2008.

* Jessica Sierra, a former contestant on American Idol and Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, had a sex tape that is scheduled to be released.

* Abi Titmuss, a British TV personality, appears in a sex tape featuring herself, her ex–TV presenter boyfriend John Leslie, and different women.

* Verne Troyer, actor and stuntman, is currently suing over the release of a sex tape between himself and a model, which he claims was stolen and is in the hands of the same film producer that released Paris Hilton’s sex tape.

* Severina Vučković, a Croatian pop star, had a tape of her engaging in sex acts with a married man released on the Internet in 2004. She claimed the video was stolen and sued. The case was later dismissed.

Jiggle TV!

For those of you not around for it’s original run, Charlie’s Angels was not just a hit TV show, it was a phenomenon. Every magazine and rag magazine had a picture of The Angels on their covers. Incredibly popular, it all came down to Farrah and her 70’s fly away hair, her dazzling toothy smile, her skateboarding pose wearing Addia’s, her shampoo, her toothpaste, THE bathing suit poster of the century, and then she was gone. Exiting after only one season Charlie’s Angels never was the same again. Bolstered by Jill’s kid sister, Kris – Cheryl Ladd and then others, Charlie’s Angels never again climbed to the heights of sheer madness of its first season. Owing its popularity to episodes such as Angels in Chains and Angels on Wheels, it fulfilled many a preadolescence male’s fantasy and Jiggle TV was born. It may be a period piece today but it was a product of the fun, wacky 1970’s that gave it birth.

This was one of the first shows that showed that women could go out and get the bad guys just like the boys could. Of course, I was a fan of the Kate Jackson era. The three years she was on the show were its greatest era. She definitely was the star of that show and when she left I stopped watching. But, it was her chemistry with Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd and of course Farrah Fawcett that made it one of the top shows of the 1970’s.
